K7 Computing has initiated a first-of-its-kind educational program under its training business unit, K7 Academy. During the conference, the Commissioner of Police of Salem highlighted the importance of cyber safe awareness in a cyber-crime prone country like India.
Commenting on this, K Purushothaman, CEO – K7 Computing, said “Cybersecurity is a real world problem, as it stands next to natural disaster and extreme weather events. Having said that, the awareness level amongst many is almost negligible and it is for this reason we have decided to launch this program. The plan is to cover educational institutes region wise and create awareness right from student level.”
“We are planning to set up labs not only to create awareness but also offer certificate programs to students in order to equip them to be industry ready. As a pioneer in Indian Cybersecurity space, we believe that it is our responsibility to initiate such programs and we are confident that these will help create right talent to protect people and country’s growth” he concluded.
